Palma Del Mar V-219

This condominium unit was neat, tidy, and clean. It appeared to be newly renovated--up to date. The parking space is directly in front of the unit. We had always rented on the water and steps from the pool, but this condo, on the golf course, was only a parking-lot-distance to the pool, a minute or two walk, tops. Also, it turned out that overlooking the golf course was quite pleasant and at the turn of the head is a small pond where birds congregate. And a minute walk takes you right to that pond This particular cluster of condos had some nice neighbors too. We have 3 young grandchildren that live just across the bridge. One permanent resident noticed the kids when they visited us and sent over a satchel full of toys to use when the kids came. Very neighborly. I would rent this place again. One nit-pik:We were there November and December, during 2 big holidays. Anyone planning to cook should bring a few utensils and pans. Better yet, simply call Paula Stout at Suncoast and she will deliver to your door step, within an hour, anything you want. We know this from years of experience dealing with her and now wait for her to find us a condo to buy.

This property was in an area that we love. You could tell from the beginning that this property had recently been updated. Unfortunately my husband had to tighten all of the dining table chairs and fix the 2nd bathroom toilet. I would suggest that new mattresses be purchased. The primary bedroom mattress was so soft that my husband had to sleep on the floor our entire stay. He tried the twin beds and found the mattresses the same. Hooks are needed in the entrance way and in each bedroom. Thank you.

Overall it was a very nice 8 weeks. Location is excellent, condo facilities very nice. Verticle blinds in master bedroom are in poor shape and do not close, allowing a lot of light from Bayway in during the night. Also very little info provided at check in. Did not know where to find beach equipment, which was in closet on balcony. No indication of how to access the recreation room and library. Cable service was difficult to use and should be looked at.
